“How can you be a Republican, Tommy when your not rich and your just a working man?” If I only had a nickel for every time I have been asked that question.  You see there is such a common misconception of what a Republican stands for and maybe it is rightly so. Maybe throughout history we have been to quick to jump on the anti labor train. I wanted to take just a moment to say thank you for the opportunity to serve the citizens of the 3rd district these last four years. It has truly been an honor. Conservative Values 101: 2nd Amendment As I sit here writing this post, I am under extreme frustration with what is going on around us in our Country. Is it just me or does it seem that everyday that passes we stand in awe at another scheme from the communists to tear down everything that my grandfather fought for in WWII. At the June 27th Morgan County commission meeting the disdain from the county commissioners toward the public reached a new low. Some of the commissioners (Randy Roberts – Coalfield, Lucy Freytag – Wartburg) got up and walked out while the citizens were trying to give their input which was extremely rude and several others rolled their eyes and make snide remarks under their breath.
